Our Public Safety Partner's, the Carroll County Office of Public Safety - Emergency Management, has just released a new "free" cell phone app that citizens of Carroll County may want to download and use. This cell phone app which is called "Prepare Me Carroll", is available for both Andriod and I-Phone users, contains a lot of useful information and resources that are available at click of a button.

Prepare Me Carroll contains the following information:
- Local Weather Forecast
- "Be Prepared" Guides for Numerous Different Emergencies
- Emergency Checklist for Numerous Different Emergencies
- Calendar
- Link to Local Power Outages for both Baltimore Gas and Electric and Potomac Edison
- Link to Closing for Carroll County Public Schools and Carroll County Government
- Local Traffic Events/ and Alerts provided through CHART
- Information about Carroll County Emergency Management
- How to Contact Carroll County Emergency Management
