Mutual Aid to Westminster for the House Fire

At 6:09pm units from Westminster, Reese, Pleasant Valley, New Windsor and Taneytown were dispatched for smoke from the house in the unit block of Carroll View Avenue in Westminster. First arriving Medic 38 reported smoke showing and the Rapid Intervention Dispatch was added. Engine 33 and the Station 9 units make quick work of a bedroom fire on the second floor. Engine 101 threw ladders, assisted with ventilation and secued the utilities. Chief 13 (C. Green) held the command. Engine 101 operated for 20 minutes prior to returning to service. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office.
