At 11:41am as crews were about to sit down to lunch the pre-alert dropped for the reported house fire in the 1100 Block of Slingluff Lane. First Arriving Lieutenant 10-2 (Lease) found a two story single family structure with nothing evident. The report was quickly upgraded to smoke in the dwelling and command was established. Engine 101 arrived and due to access issues pulled the 400' apartment line and headed to the second floor. Crews found a small electrical fire which had spread to some clothing and other combustibles and the fire was quickly extinguished. Engine 102 assisted with overhaul and ventilation. Command held the Company 10 units and cleared the rest of the box assignment. The New Windsor units operated for 40 minutes prior to returning to service.
