New Windsor hosted live fire training in an acquired structure located in the 2300 block of Wilt Road over the weekend. 12 training burns were conducted in accordance with NFPA 1403 to allow for a most realistic training experience for member while they honed such skills as hose management, fire control, search and rescue, ventilation and overhaul. Members of Pleasant Valley, Reese and Westminster also participated in the day long training. Thanks to all who participated in this great day of training and a special thanks to the New Windsor Auxiliary who provided lunch for the training event and the Mt Airy Fire Company for covering the station while we trained.
