Two Injured in the Crash at Route 31 and Medford Road

At 4:44pm units from Station 10 were dispatched to the intersection of Route 31 and Medford Road for a reported vehicle collision. First arriving Paramedic 109 found a two vehicle "T-Bone" Collision in the middle of the intersection with one of the cars requiring a "door pop" to remove the patient. Engine 102 arrived and Captain 10 (T. Coe) established the "Route 31 Command". The engine company made quick work of the door removal and assisted the ambulance crew in treating the patients injured in the collision. Paramedic 109 and Paramedic 38 each transported 1 with minor injuries to Carroll Hospital Center. The New Windsor Units operated on the scene for 45 minutes prior to returning to service.
