| At 5:11am units from New Windsor were sent to the 2300 Block of Marston Road for a report of a motor vehicle accident involving an overturned tractor trailer. First Arriving Chief 10 (T. Coe) found a dump truck loaded with sand on its side. Paramedic 109 arrived and confirmed that the driver was uninjured and did not wish medical treatment. The crew from Engine 102 worked to control a large oil leak from the truck while Utility 10 assisted the Maryland State Police with Traffic Control. Haz-Mat 30 was later requested to assist in the control of the spill. The Engine and Haz Mat remained until the truck was uprighted. The NWFD units operated for just over 2 hours. |
