| At 2:22pm units from the New Windsor and Union Bridge Fire Departments were dispatched for a report of a motor vehicle accident with 1 subject trapped in the 1300 Block of New Windosr Road. Paramedic 109 found a single vehicle accident with a car on its top with one person still in the vehicle. Engine 102 arrived, Chief 10-1 (B. Welker) established the New Windsor Road Command and the crew went to work stabilizing the vehicle. Of the two origional occupants of the car, one was able to self extricate prior to the arrival of the fire department and the second's foot was wedged against the door requiring extrication. Once the car was stabilized, the crew from Rescue Squad 8 assisted by removing the car's door and freeing the patient. Paramedic 109 transported 1 patient to Carroll Hospital Center. |
