| At 3:43am Units from Carroll and Frederick County were dispatched for a report of a house fire in the unit block of Bucher John Road. First arriving Engine 81 found a two and a half story single family dwelling with smoke showing. Captain 8 (S. Keeney) established the Bucher John Road Command until the arrival of Chief 8-1 (Cartwright)and requested the Rapid Intervention Dispatch. Upon Engine 101's arrival, fire was visible blowing out of the roof. Engine 101 picked up Engine 81's supply line, pulled a back up hose line and went to the attic to assist with fire attack. Brush 105 went directly to a creek 1000 feet from the house fire and established a fill site. Engine 102 and Chief 10 were added to the call to complete the first alarm assignment. Engine 102's crew threw multiple ground ladders to all four sides of the building and served as the Rapid Intervention Team. The fire was placed under control 20 minutes from the time of dispatch and command began to release units holding the assignment with units from Union Bridge, New Windsor, Tower 3 and Qunit 11.
