On March 29, 2014 members and officers of the New Windsor Fire Department joined members of the Westminster Fire Department for a joint incident command class. This class was held at the Frederick County Public Safety Training Center. The class was taught by Chief Tom Coe and Chief Chris Mullendore (Sharpsburgh Volunteer Fire Department).

The class featured a new command simulator lab, that was recently purchased by Frederick County Division of Fire Rescue Services. Students in the class got the opportunity to function as both unit officers and incident commanders. In addition to the command simulator lab members had the opportunity to work on their fire ground tactics and priorities.

The New Windsor Fire Department would like to thank, Chief Mullendore, for assisting us with this training.
