Several NWFD Responders Recognized at Annual Banquet |

The New Windsor Fire and Hose Company #1 held its annual Banquet and Awards Ceremony on Saturday January 17th in Windsor Station. After an outstanding meal several members were recognized for their service: Service Awards (For Years of Membership in 5 Year Increments): 5 Years of Membership: 10 Years of Membership: 15 Years of Membership: 20 Years of Membership: 25 Years of Membership: 30 Years of Membership: 45 Years of Membership: 50 Years of Membership: 55 Years of Membership: Dale Lowman was recognized and added to an esteemed club for having 50 years of ACTIVE membership with the NWFD! Jeff Lease and Byron Welker were recipients of Life Membership Status for fulfilling 30 years of active service to the Department!

Those plaques will be predominantly displayed in the fire station. In addition to all of the awards given, the department received generous donations from the New Windsor Fire Department Auxiliary, the New Windsor Junior Fire Department, the New Windsor Lions Club and the Town of New Windsor. We would like to thank each of those organizations for their contributions. In addition to the awards and donations the 2015 Officers of the New Windsor Fire Department and NWFD Auxiliary took their oath of office and were sworn in. We would like to take a second to thank all of our members for all that they do day in and day out to keep the greater New Windsor community safe! |
