On the monring of Saturday May 30th personnel from the New Windsor, Union Bridge and Reese Fire Dpeartments met on Feather Lane to partipate in some live fire training. The New Windsor Fire Department was donated a structure for use in live fire training where personnel could hone their skills in live fire scenarios. Crews partipated in more than 10 training burns prior to allowing the structure to burn into the foundation. The New Windsor Fire Department would like to thank the property owner for their donation, the Union Bridge and Reese Fire Departments for their particpation and the Mt Airy Fire Department for covering our station during the outstanding training event.
