Several New Windsor Fire Department members received recognition from the Maryland State Firemen's Association at the July Company Meeting. The Kreimer family was recognized for having three generations simultaneously providing active service to the department. The Kreimer family consists of William "Bill" Kreimer who is a first generation member who has severed in several capacities in the department for over 50 years and remains active today, his sons Steve and Kevin who are both long time active members with the department and his grandson Brad who is the newest Kreimer to provide active service to the citizens of New Windsor. The Kreimers are an excellent example of tradition that exists in the New Windsor Fire Department. The family received a certificate from President Rick Fritz on behalf of the MSFA. Dale Lowman was nominated for the Marbery F. Gates Service cup for his over 50 years of active service with the department. We thank these 5 men for their continued service to the citizens of New Windsor! |
