Firefighter Ray Welker graduated as part of the 106th Recruit Class of the Baltimore County Fire Department on Tuesday December 15th. Upon graduation Ray will be assigned to Baltimore County Station 5 (Halthorpe) on C Shift. Ray is a third generation firefighter at New Windsor. Currently Ray's father Byron serves a the Assistant Chief at New Windsor and is a Lieutenant with the Baltimore County Fire Department, his brother Joe joined the department this December. Congratulations Ray and best of luck in your new assignment.
