At 10:55am units from Union Bridge and New Windsor Fire Departments were dispatched to the 1500 Block of McKinstry's Mill Road for a report of a tractor on fire next to a barn. Engine 81 arrived and confirmed a tractor well involved in close proximity to the barn. The property owner was hard at working keeping the fire from the barn with a garden hose as Engine 81 pulled their initial attack line. Engine 101 arrived and assisted in knocking down the fire while Rescue Squad 8's crew went into the barn to verify that the fire had not extended into the structure. The fire was out within5 minutes of arrival with no damage to the barn.
