At 08:25hrs units from New Windsor, Union Bridge, Libertytown, Woodsboro and Gamber along with the Carroll County Advanced Technical Rescue Team were alerted for a swift water rescue in the 3300 Block of Sam's Creek Road. First arriving units from New Windsor found a car on its side in a creek with 2 occupants still in the car. The occupants were assisted out of their vehicle within minutes of the arrival of the fire department. Both occupants were evaluated but elected not to be transported to the hospital.
