On Friday January 12th at 2105 units from Winfield, Mt Airy, New Windsor, Libertytown and Sykesville were dispatched to the 2600 Block of West Liberty Road for a reported house fire. First arriving Chief 14-2 (M. Davis) found a two story single family house with smoke showing and requested a rapid intervention dispatch and tanker task force. E141arrived and deployed a 1 3/4" attack line to knock down a fire on the first floor. As additional units arrived to start opening up the walls it was discovered that the fire had made its way through the walls and into the attic.
