At 02:11am Frederick County Emergency Communications dispatched units from Union Bridge, New Midway, Libertytown New Windsor, Woodsboro and Taneytown to the 13500 block of Good Intent Road for the report of a house fire. While enroute units were notified that the incident was being upgraded to a house fire with persons trapped as all occupants had not been accounted for yet. First arriving, Carroll County Paramedic 89 found fire showing from the roof of a 2 1/2 story single family home and was able to quickly confirm that all occupants had safety made it out of the home. Carroll County Engine 81 arrived and placed multiple hand lines in service to try to get a hold on the fire. Engine 101 arrived as the third engine company and deployed protection line into the house and assisted with opening up. Engine 102 arrived and filled out the Rapid Intervention Team and then was rotated in to assist with overhaul. The Rapid Intervention Dispatch and Tanker Task Force was requested to support the fire attack. The New Windsor units operated for 90 minutes prior to returning to service. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Frederick County Fire Marshal's Office.
