The New Windsor Fire Department participated for the third year in a row in Wreaths Across America. Numerous members took apparatus to three different cemeteries. The members attending this year split between St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Pipe Creek Cemetery, & St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery Uniontown. Throughout Carroll County there were 23 total Cemeteries that participated in Wreaths Across America this year. A local business, Babylon Vault Company, got the ball rolling three years ago to bring this amazing yearly honor and now tradition to our area. We also had multiple members have the honor of laying wreaths on family members graves.

Wreaths Across America is an event all across America laying Christmas wreaths on veterans graves. Wreaths Across America has coordinated to lay wreaths at more than 2,100 locations across America.
