Just before 8pm on Sunday May 8th, New Windsor and surrounding companies were dispatched to the 1100blk of Nicodemus Rd for the reported “house on fire”. First arriving Chief 10 (Welker) found a 2.5 story farm house with fire showing from the 2nd floor on sides A & D. E101 arrived shortly after, stretching a crosslay to the 2nd floor for fire attack and were supplemented by additional arriving crews. Fire was placed under control in about 15 minutes and units remained on scene for approximately 3.5 hours. One patient was transported via MSP Aviation to an area hospital for injuries received as a result of the fire.
