Firefighter Rilley Completes Probationary Training

Congratulations to Firefighter Jason Rilley on successfully completing his probationary period. In order to be removed off of probation, Firefighter Rilley had to successfully complete both MFRI Firefighter I, a 135 hour course, and MFRI Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operation Couse, a 42 hour course. After complete both of these courses, Firefighter Rillley had to responded to 25 emergency incidents and then complete an in house a basic skills packet which covered such topics as:

- Apparatus Familiarization
- Supply Line Layout
- Ladder: Carries, Raises and Placement
- Exterior Attack Line Operations
- Fire Ground Roles and Responsibilities
- Infectious Control Training
- SCBA Use and Emergency Procedures
- Hose line advancement and Interior Attack Lines
- Operating all power equipment
- Radio Procedures

Congratulations to Firefighter Rilley on successfully completing his probationary pack, and being removed off of probation and receiving his black helmet.
