New Windsor Fire Department to host Carnival from May 21st to May 25th

The New Windsor Fire Department is having a full-scale carnival with all the carnival rides and carnival food that you have grown to love over the years from Tuesday, May 21, 2024 to Saturday, May 25, 2024. The carnival is located at the carnival grounds beside the fire station located at 101 High Street. All funds raised during this event will benefit the New Windsor Fire Department.

Lunch:
Lunch will be served daily from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM from Tuesday May 21, 2024 to Friday, May 24, 2024 at the Carnival Grounds.

Dinner:
Dinner will be every evening starting at 5:00 PM. In addition to the main food stand, the following items will be available on the carnival grounds: Pit Beef, Pit Turkey, Pit Ham, Fried Chicken, Ice Cream, and Pizza.

Platter Menu
Platters will be served in the air-conditioned social hall each evening from 5:00 PM to 8:00PM. Platters includes two sides and a drink. Fried Chicken and Crab Cake platters will be available nightly.

Weekly Platter Menu:
Thursday - May 23, 2024 – Roast Beef
Friday - May 24, 2024 - Seafood
Saturday - May 25, 2024 – Meatloaf

Entertainment:
The carnival will feature entertainment from local bands including:
Tuesday, May 21, 2024 – 39 North (Alternative, Modern and Classic Rock)
Wednesday, May 22, 2024 – Jay Henley and Stone Broke Band and the traditional Fire Department Parade beginning at 7:00 PM
Thursday, May 23, 2024 – Radio Hero (Rock, Pop and Country Hits)
Friday, May 24, 2024 - Payload (Rock and Roll)
Saturday, May 25, 2024 – Brickyard Road (Southern Rock)


Parade - Wednesday May 22, 2024:
The parade participants will line up motorized apparatus at Springdale Preparatory School located at 1000 Green Valley Road and while floats, marching bands and dignitaries will lineup at Carroll County Public Library Headquarters 1100 Green Valley Road
The parade will be start at 7:00 PM, with start of the parade being signaled by blast of the Fire Department Siren.
The parade will start at the fire station located at 101 High Street, turn right onto Main Street, and then turn right onto Church Street. From the 7-11 located on Main Street, the parade will proceed down Church Street make a right onto Main Street, proceed past Frankie's Bar and Grill to Water Street. The parade will end at the New Windsor Carnival Grounds.

Parking Information:
Handicap parking is available by the old bingo building on the New Windsor Carnival Grounds as well as the parking lot at Windsor Station. Overflow parking is available at Springdale Preparatory School located at 1000 Green Valley Road, New Windsor, Maryland.

Ride All Night Prices and Availability:
Ride All Night Wrist Bands are available for purchase from the Snyder's Attractions for $25.00 a wrist band. There will be a different wrist band each night. Rides start each night at 6:00 PM.
