The officers and members of the New Windsor Fire & Hose Company No. 1 extend our heartfelt gratitude to Flood Zone Brewery & Marketplace for once again hosting the 7th Annual Anchored Mini Boat Parade.

This year's event was another tremendous success, raising more than $32,000 to support the volunteer firefighters of the New Windsor Fire & Hose Company No. 1 and the Union Bridge Fire Company. Each department received $16,000, funds that will directly support the purchase of emergency equipment, firefighter training, apparatus maintenance, and other critical resources that help ensure we are ready to answer the call whenever our communities need us.

The Anchored Mini Boat Parade has grown into annual event bringing together residents, local businesses, sponsors, volunteers, and visitors for a week filled with fun, friendly competition, and an unwavering commitment to supporting two volunteer fire departments. None of this would be possible without the dedication and generosity of the Flood Zone Brewery & Marketplace family, whose vision has transformed this event into an annual tradition that continues to make a meaningful impact.

A very special thank you goes to our Boat Captain Darrell Kontz, who proudly portrayed Louis Dielman, and to his entire crew for the countless hours spent planning, building, fundraising, and securing sponsors. Their passion, creativity, and dedication were evident throughout the week.

We would also like to recognize Chris Harris and Jess Denning for their remarkable craftsmanship in constructing the impressive replica of the Rockall, the ship that carried Louis Dielman across the Atlantic during his historic 35-day voyage to America. Their attention to detail created an unforgettable centerpiece that honored New Windsor's rich history while captivating everyone who attended.

To the incredible Flood Zone Brew Crew and Food Crew, thank you for your tireless work behind the scenes. From preparing food and beverages to providing exceptional hospitality throughout one of your busiest weeks of the year, your hard work helped create an unforgettable experience for everyone who visited Boat Week.

Most importantly, thank you to every sponsor, volunteer, donor, attendee, voter, and supporter who participated throughout the week. Your generosity and enthusiasm continue to strengthen our community and provide vital support for the volunteer firefighters who proudly serve New Windsor, Union Bridge, and the surrounding areas.

And, of course, there was one more reason to celebrate this year—the New Windsor Fire Department proudly brought the Agnes Cup back home! Congratulations to everyone whose hard work, creativity, and community support made that accomplishment possible.

On behalf of the officers and members of the New Windsor Fire & Hose Company No. 1, thank you to Flood Zone Brewery & Marketplace for your continued partnership, unwavering support, and commitment to our community. We are truly honored to be one of the beneficiaries of this incredible event and look forward to many more years of working together to make a difference.
