DECON 30 to EPA Conference Drill

DECON 30 and several members of the Carroll County Haz Mat Team traveled to Baltimore City this morning to take part in the 2009 EPA Region 3 Conference. All 7 of the Baltimore Regional Haz Mat Teams and the Maryland Department of the Environment's Emergency Resoponse Team participated in exercises in the CSX Rail Yard as part of one of the break out sessions of the conference. Carroll County's DECON 30 was set up as a static display to demonstrate the capabilities of the 7 Baltimore UASI Mobile Mass Deontamination Units.
