A few members of the Carroll County Haz Mat Team traveled to PIERCE Manufacturing in Appleton, Wisconsin to complete the final acceptance inspection of the new Haz-Mat 30. The new unit is a 2010 International 4400 with a 19' PIERCE rescue body. The unit features a 25kw PTO generator, Air Compressor, Light Tower, Electric & Air Reels and a vast amount of equipment storage. The new unit replaces an early 1990's retired bottled water truck with over 250,000 and is expected to be in service by the first of the year. The unit was sold by Bob Rosensteel of Singer Associates.
