At 7:09pm the Carroll County 911 Center began taking calls for a motor vehicle collision with persons trapped in the 100 Block of South Springdale Road. Paramedic 109 arrived and reported 1 car into a pole with pole and wires down with 1 person trapped. Engine 102 arrived and Chief 10 (Fritz) established Springdale Road Command and requested BG & E Electric Side. After evaluation of the scene the engine crew was able to quickly make the extrication and placed Rescue Squad 8 in service. Paramedic 109 had 1 for transport to Carroll Hospital Center.
