Ms. Betty Mae Fritz, age 96, of New Windsor, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Bridging Life Hospice, Westminster.

Born May 15, 1925 in Bark Hill, MD, she was the daughter of the late Ray Edward Weller and Fannie Belle Rowe Weller. She was the wife of the late Charles Wesley "Tooter" Fritz, who predeceased her in 2006. Mrs. Fritz was formerly employed with the local sewing factories and in the cafeteria at the former New Windsor Middle School.

She was a member of Bark Hill Bible Church, Union Bridge. Betty was a charter member of the New Windsor Fire Company Auxiliary, where she served previously as president and chaplain. Rick Fritz of New Windsor; sister, Loretta Heltibridle; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 5 sisters and 4 brothers.
