| The New Windsor Fire Department welcomed Christmas Eve with a time-honored tradition that brought together members and colleagues from across the local fire and EMS community before the start of what is always a busy holiday period.
On Christmas Eve morning, department members gathered alongside Carroll County Department of Fire and EMS employees, DFEMS Command Staff, members of the Union Bridge Fire Department, and DFEMS personnel assigned to Station 8 for a shared breakfast and time to connect before the demands of the next few days.
Members and employees were up early preparing a hearty spread that included chipped beef gravy, sausage gravy, pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, and homemade sticky buns. The breakfast provided an opportunity for camaraderie, conversation, and fellowship—an important reminder of the strong relationships that exist among those who serve our communities around the clock.
The New Windsor Fire Department would like to sincerely thank everyone who took the time to attend the breakfast and share in the morning’s fellowship. Events like this highlight the teamwork and mutual support that carry our fire and EMS personnel through the busiest and most demanding times of the year. |
